make sure后面可直接加of，即make sure of sth，表示“对...确信”；make sure后面可以接不定式，表示“一定要做某事”；make sure后面还可以接that从句，表示“一定要做某事”。

make sure三种用法

一、make sure of sth

make sure of sth，表示“对...确信”。of后面可以接名词或doing。

例句：

You'd better make sure of the time and place.

你最好把时间和地点弄清楚。

Make sure of his coming before you set off.

出发之前要确定他是否来。

二、make sure to do sth

make sure后面可以接不定式，表示“一定要做某事”。

例句：

Make sure to meet them at the other end.

确保在另一边与他们会合。

He will make sure nobody has anything to do with you.

他会和你断绝一切关系。

三、make sure that+从句

make sure后面还可以接that从句，表示“一定要做某事”。make sure 如果是现在时，或者祈使句形式（原形），that从句的时态应该使用现在时间范畴的时态，如：一般现在时，现在进行时，一般将来时等。

例句：

You can call him to make sure that he comes back to have supper.

你可以给他打电话来确认他会回来吃饭.

You'd better make sure that you are safe.

你最好确保你是安全的.

They want to make sure the newcomers don't get a look-in.
